| Review: | I don't know yet. I've only been a member for a brief time and haven't had any real interaction as of yet but i was overlooking these reviews and felt discouraged of the male bashing and so fourth. I am a young black male and i honestly consider myself a very decent guy. I'm noticing a pattern of "liars" and "sex addicts" in these posts and I'm not sure if these are a bunch of jaded, suspicious females jumping conclusions or if the male population really appears that awful. I just wanted to say don't be discouraged ladies... some of us are okay and its annoying and frustrating how the immature men overwhelm the decent and make is harder on us. (which is a major reason i resort to the site in the first place) The site doesn't seem to have any problems with efficiency and overall seems welcoming and approachable. | Review: | Nothing's Perfect! I never had any problems with the site within itself. It's very simple and basic. I have had some positive and negative associations with the members. The biggest was the fact that some of the men I conversed with were solely interested in having sex. It appears to have something to do with their ego's. I guess they've slept with all the females who would allow them to in there hometown and decided to make a wider search. I have no problem if that's what they want to do. However, that's not what I was looking for. I have met some men in person and chatted with many who I can add as a friend. I like the site better than eharmony or anything like that because it is "real". A note of advice, there are alot of men and I'm sure also woman on here merely for the "game" but there are some who are serious. Trust your intuition, don't fret over someone else's baggage or comments because you have the strongest tool right in front of you...the delete button. | Review: | Lacking people with "real" people conversation I had to make a change with the guys I have been meeting so I decided to try Black people Meet. I have found that the men on this site are not honest. I have nothing to compare to it, but the actual dating process. | Review: | Stay By Yourself If you want a good laugh for 30 days at 14.95, this is the place for you. After being married for most of my adult life and divorcing I decided to try this online site especially since Steve Harvey is now promoting it. OMG! What a disaster waiting to happen! I am really surprised that they are still in business! This site is a joke. The people on there are a joke. Some people have been on there so long that they have probably retired from work. | Review: | Singles Beware If you are looking for a quick date or a nice chat on the internet this is the site for you. However if you are seriously looking for LOVE you may want to pay a lil bit more for a website that specialized in "hooking people up" because all of the technical aspects of the dating game are totally left up to you (including trying to figure out wether or not it's a real male or not). When it comes to security and tracking there are once again some hazards such as anyone and everyone can pop up on your computer screen and comense to chatting with you. NOT FUN. But if you are doing an overall social examination of African American singles and how they behave on a website then this would be the ideal place for you to gather your data.
