It's actually free.
You don't have to become a member to send email or reply or use the forumns unlike many other "free" sites. The site itself is very civil and dating oriented. Stupid "have sex with me tonight!" topics usually get flamed to death or ignored. This is not to say that sexual topics are frowned on, you just have to use some good sense and have a bit of taste.
In running a search for single women within 50 miles (i think it goes over, but not up to 100mi) I got over 400+ (the cap for returns) for 18-27 300+ for 28-37 and 300+ for 38-48. Needless to say not all of them are still active. Did find a good many active profiles right in the same town as me. The age of course goes higher, but that gives you a general idea of the sites singles pool.
As of right now there are 2300+ females and 3100+ males on.
