| Review: | Its Not The Site... ..but the some of the people that frequent there. What I noticed most when I was there was that certain people can say the most hideous things yet a month or so later its all forgotten simply because they spend more than 75% of their time there. The site itself, is good. The intention is good. The mods more than lenient and the ease of getting around the site commendable. | Review: | Not For Me Being a woman and trying to take an impartial view is difficult ,to say the least. Personally I'm too busy with life in general to bother with the forums or what they're calling "blogs", whatever they are. But upon entering the site I'm bombarded with nothing but crap. I don't read any of them but the titles alone more than hints as to what's inside. As for the people, most of the guys who have contacted me I consider strange from my point of view. Not my cup of tea. The inapproiate messages are most likely prolific on all internet dating sites. Appears to me that most have no life outside computrer. Women especially. Maybe if they would push there chair back, turn off the pc find something else to get interestd in, guys and gals might find them intresting. Guys there are wimps, women loud w/big mouts never shut up. Anybody wants a person like that, is the place to be. But beware, I was on the site a couple times of and on for app 10 yrs and alot on the photos, those who actually post one instead of there doggs or cats, have been there as long as me. | Review: | MatchdoctorSucks The largest group of dumb asses on the internet. Lead by the the dumb ass MOD. There are plenty of fat women on this site, if that's what you're into. Maybe one or two niggers, if that, because the site itself is a raciest site, with raciest members. The pretty women have HPV's and are only after money. All the men are old and fat, with IQ's of zero. Read their blogs and see for yourself. The only good thing about matchdoctor, is not to become a member. Who want's to be associated with those idiots. | Review: | A small site that is a real community Okay, I have been on MD for several years. It is not the largest of sites and over the years, I have found it to be more of a place to socialize, than it is to find a date. There is a fairly small core of people who are on the site, though more are certainly welcome. The site is well designed, easy to use & you don't have to jump through a bunch of hoops to use it. Best of all it is free, not just to post an add, but to email, blog, post in forums, communicate... The downside is the size of the site. I live in a fairly large market (Charlotte, NC) and I am one of two active members on the site, from my city. There are less than 10 active female members, that are within 15 years of my age, who live in a 100 mile radius of Charlotte. (Over 4 million people live within that radius) So, is it an ideal site for dating? Not really, but it is a great place to mingle, chat and get to know some very interesting people from around the world. Now while that may not equate to finding your "soul mate", I certainly have enjoyed the friendships that I have developed over the years, on the site. Comments [ 6 ] |
