Review: Move on - Don't waste your money
I stumbled across this site while a member on Match. I took advantage of the offer for a free weekend of communication. I am glad I did not pay for it. It was hugely disappointing. The matches when they were sent to me were not what I specified and the ones that I tried to contact never expressed any interest in me. I am not sure if they were active members of the site. You can't use the search to find your own matches (like eharmony). Totally stupid.

Review: Save your money.
This is a website that promises much and delivers little. I am in no way satisfied by my experience at Chemistry.com. I have gone for weeks without new matches, and people on the site are very unresponsive. The customer service is horrendous, lacking in depth knowledge or compassion for the customer. You work hard for your money. Don't waste it with this site.

Review: Skip Chemistry.com - Look elsewhere
Save your time and money.
Chemistry.com is not worth the effort - and it takes effort when they restrict your ability to interact with others. Their process is just too painfully slow. After signing up for the 3 month option, I have only had email exchanges with two people. In looking back, I honestly wonder if the two respondents weren't Chemistry.com staff trying to keep people interested and not bailing on this web site.
I think dating sites should be required to publish exactly how many members they have of either gender, as well as by metro area. Sorry, but when I answered the question early on that I was only interested in someone within 50 miles from me, yet they send "matches" from much further than that . . . I would have thought twice before wasting my money and my time.

Review: E Harmony Copycat "Chemistry" =Just As Bad
I was interested to see how Match.com's new site, Chemistry, would compare to EHarmony, which I think is terrible. After filling out a very long form, I began to receive matches. They were unbelieveably bad in every way. First, I would estimate about 70% of the profiles do not contain a photo...they expect you to go through a long process before you see the person. I tried this twice--it takes forever with all the back and forth--and when I finally saw the photos... forget it! Neither was even close to someone I'd date and I never would have wasted all that time had I seen the pictures first. Second, the matching search criteria won't let you specify what you're looking for in terms of profession, income, living status etc so many of the matches were completely inappropriate for me. My favorite? The guy in his 50s who was unemployed and still living with his mom. Third, the process of "guided" communication is a joke...just a lot of stupid questions that mean nothing, and a very long and drawn out process. It's just a delaying technique to give the illusion that some magical "system" is at work. They only let you see a few matches a day, rather than letting you do your own searching, so they can really drag it out and make it look like they have a lot of members. On Match.com, in 1 minute you can browse through dozens of profiles; on Chemistry, you can only see 35 a week! Fourth, they say they match by the 4 personality types but they sent me matches that were nothing close to my type. No matter what the combination was, however, they always said we'd be a good match. It's clear they were sending me all the men who were within the age and mileage limitations I set. The matching part a complete lie. Fifth, I received very few inquiries from guys who were interested in me...until...after I canceled my membership. Then, in the few days remaining, suddenly there were several men wanting to start a communication with me. Wow what a coincidence! I responded back and they all went through the next couple of steps, but very slowly. We were just about to go to the direct email step when, oh dear! My subscription ran out. I would have had to pay for another month to be able to send/recieve email. I assume Match.com is using their usual end of contract technique and is sending bogus inquiries from fake clients. Overall, this is a total ripoff. They charge over $40 a month to send you profiles of people you'd skip on Match.com any day.
