Review: eHarmony is not worth the bandwidth
I signed up and I was matched with women I would never consider if I met them in person first. You can't set your search- the 6 "Phd's" do that for you. I never post reviews but I made an exception for eharmony. They should be embarrassed to charge more than 5 dollars/ month for what they offer. Try a site that suits your lifestyle that is the most promising. Never join eharmony.

Review: OK for long distance relationships
I took the time to complete the questions, upload the pics and plunk down more money than the rest of the sites in hopes that this would be the place. NOT! I don't want a long distance relationship and every one of my matches wasn't even in my area code. One was over 300 miles away. No, I don't live in Alaska, but in NJ. The matches were further away in the beginning, then got closer as time went on. Why didn't I get the closer ones first? Then they send you 6 hits a day, so many that you can't possibly keep up. But when you look closely, most don't meet what you were looking for. Although most seemed like decent ladies of course there were the pompous ones with glamour shots who thought Mr. GQ was gonna be there. No different than any of the other sites I guess. I'm done with the online dating. I get more dates in the grocery store than I do on the computer. I really can't see how this site says it's so sucessful, cause I know others who were disappointed with it too. Match.com is better. At least there you can make the choices about who to contact.

Review: Better for men than women
I'll admit that my profile was very accurate as to who I am. But I quickly found out that women my age hardly get any matches at all. The guys, OTOH, told me they were so swamped with matches that they couldn't possibly respond to many. A frustrating feature is that most likely most of your matches have probably never actually paid to join the site and thus can't even respond to you. When you don't get any "real" matches, you're stuck as there's nothing you can do to change the criteria. IF, after reading all these reviews you still want to give it a try, then first take the profile and wait. They will send you a deal of joining 3 months for the price of one. I'm glad that's all the time and money I wasted.

Review: Stay away from eHarmony
What a total waste of time and money! I was on eHarmony for 6 months. Although I got matched up with over 400 men, I didn't get to go on a single date. Most of them don't respond or are so far away from where you live. The guys I did talk to were extremely passive and almost couldn't be bothered. It was depressing. I've been successful with other sites but the eHarmony commercials are so convincing I thought I'd give it a try. I wish I had done more research on them first.

Review: Lots of Cold Fish
Lots of women but very few responses. I would guess that most aren't subscribers. Sure, you can review you matches, but don't count on them being interested or ABLE to respond. Look elsewhere!
