Major, major ripoff I joined E Harmony for the second time because there was a three month promotional discount going on, and I figured, why not. Well, the majority of the men I was matched with did not have active subscriptions, many had no pictures up even though I could have sworn I asked to be matched with people with pictures. I also asked that my age range of matches be between 34 and 40 (I am 39) and for a two week period they must have sent me like 10 matches that were between the ages of 48 and 50! When I emailed them asking them why this was so, they pointed out that I had indicated that the age of my matches was "not important." I fixed it, so that was okay. I did get rejected by a lot of people with the description of "other" which could mean anything-and some people would just ignore the set of questions that require you to answer in a paragraph form. Never again would I subscribe to this site-even if it were free. At my age it is hard to meet people who are single and looking to settle down, but I think I am going to go with speed dating-I have a much better chance of hitting it off with someone in person. |
