| Review: | It's All in What You Make It, But Beware I was on this site on and off for about 6 months. I received hundreds of e-mails and ended up establishing an offline connection with only 2 guys. First guy sounded great, but found out he lied about having kids (said on his profile he had none but he had 3) and about being married (said he was divorced when he was really separated). Since it was long distance I cut my losses and moved on to guy No. 2. This guy seemed to be the total package but he actually ended up decieving me the most. And he is still probably on the site with his games, so please ladies... STAY AWAY FROM TJONES1006! The first thing he will do is ask u for your Facebook account, which is odd since he doesn't really know u. Once u become friends on FB with him, u can c that most of his friends are women he met on bpm. I honestly don't know why they are dumb enough to stay on his Facebook after knowing his true character. He comes across as a nice, respectable well-to-do career man, when really he is a sexual deviant. Our third date, he asked me to bring a friend for a potential threesome. Needless to say I was shocked and disgusted. Ladies, it is what u make it, but please weed through the BS. Learn how to search the local clerk of courts where these men live before u get in too deep. And even if nothing comes up, you're not in the clear just yet. Learn how to evaluate personality for unhealthy, destructive or deviant behavior. | Review: | Plenty of Fish is just as bad as the other sites When this site started in 2003 or around there, Markus Frind, who is the owner of Plenty of Fish, may have had good motives. In the last few years, that has changed. One of the biggest complaints on the site is the poor customer service. The moderators of his forum get away with breaking rules and having bad attitudes. Despite numerous complaints, he won't do anything about it. His site is full of people with mental issues. There is even one member on his site who is a sexual deviant. This person has seeked sex with underage girls. You are better off trying to find a mate in your real life. Think about who would be the type that needs the internet to find a partner? | Review: | I've half a mind to join PlentyOfFish And half a mind is what you'll need! The site is an ad-infested mess where you never find what you're looking for, and they push you around like sheep. One day I was told to reveal my salary or be disadvantaged on the site. A few days later, they make it MANDATORY to tell them about my longest relationship. When I didn't, I received this message: "You can not view or reply to messages until you update your relationship history below." and was barred from accessing my own profile or messages until I'd done as I was told! Sure there are a lot of people on the site. Think of other ghettos in the world that are very densely populated! I would have complained to customer services, but there is no way of contacting P O F that I can find. | Review: | If You're Looking For a Lover This Is a Great Site I disagree with the people who rated this site poorly. As a married woman who went to this site, looking for, quite frankly, a secret lover, I did not have a bad experience. I am attractive, look younger than my age and sure there are lots of guys who contacted me and honestly most of them were not my type. I had a nice email relationship with one of them for a couple of months that went no where, and I met one men that I thought was interesting, after lots of emails and a few phone calls, and unfortunately, he had "man boobs" which I'm not into (I think his might have been bigger than mine) and I couldn't get past. I guess the third one was the charm. I found an attractive, sexy man, and we started something and fell in love with each other and are still in each other's lives. He was all that he said he was,and still is, on his profile, and more, and although his photos were maybe a few years old, he looks close enough to say the photos didn't lie. I think there's a little more grey in his hair than in his photos. Falling in love with him, and getting caught kissing him, destroyed my marriage (which had issues anyway or I wouldn't have gone to Ashley Madison), when my husband found out, so I am now separated. And unfortunately "the other man" remains with his wife, but I sense someday he too will make the break, when the time is right for him. He has to decide what's right for him and just because I got caught doesn't mean he has to change his life to accommodate my situation. I'd love it if someday he decides I'm the one he would prefer to spend the rest of his life with, but I don't know where this relationship is going to go or if he and I have a long term future together, for sure. I hope we do. I don't know if he's still courting women on the site. I doubt it since he doesn't seem to have enough energy for me most of the time, and it would take a patient woman to put up with him some of the time, and only someone who loves him as much as I do, could or would overlook some of his faults...but who knows. I hope he's not still cruising for women, and doubt that he is, but then, he has made me no promises or guarantees. And there's no ring on my finger with his name on it, so I guess I just have to trust that he really loves me and wouldn't cheat on me. (I know what you're all thinking). When he finally leaves his wife and quietly cancels his profile on Ashley Madison, which means he'd have to give up all the points he claims he has and can't get a refund for, and says he is saving "just in case I dump him", then I'll know he's mine for good. Till then, all is well. I got what I went there looking for, and then some. And more important, it didn't cost me anything but time. The men generally paid for the points or whatever it is they use.
